Here you can access a series of online resources written for lawyers, by lawyers and designed to enhance your commercial awareness.

The course explains some easy-to-follow steps, derived from the key methodologies taught by the world’s leading business schools. These steps will help you to gain a deeper understanding of any client’s business, industry and market.

The course comprises three discrete but linked modules.

Module 1 - The Industry Layer - This explains how to carry out an industry structural analysis in order to identify the critical factors for success within any given industry.
Module 2 - The Internal Layer - This explains how to analyse the internal resources and capabilities of any client using the most recent theories taught by the world’s leading business schools.
Module 3 - The General Layer - This explains how to strategically interpret changes within the General Environment (including changes within the law) in terms of its impact on the competitive forces operating within an industry.

Each module contains videos lasting approximately 1 hour 15 minutes in total. Each module also includes a series of worksheets to consolidate the learning.

When you click on the 'submit' button below you will be sent an automated email which will ask you to validate your account. Please note: There may be a short delay (of up to two hours) before you receive this automated email.

Logging-in to the course

Once your account has been validated (by clicking on the link in the automated email described above), you will be able to login from then on by clicking on the join / login tab at the top of the www.Stratology.com website and then entering your email address and password (in the Login for existing users section) as requested.

Licence period

The licence period is 17 November 2015 to 16 November 2016. You can register and complete the course at any time during that period. Your licence will expire at the end of the period.
